Can be entirely relevant and help explain a current situation .. as history repeats itself over and over again we can learn from others' mistakes if we bother to listen..

I absorb stuff from many different sources.. When you get the same information from disparate sources then you glean what the facts are... not opinions facts.. Yes I often base comparisons of current issues to historical context...
Based on multiple disparate sources and Trumps picks for ambassadors to Israel and the UN plus his pick for Secretary of State and - the known views of his Son in Law and the prior Ambassador to Israel then ... I made certain conclusions as to what his policy was to be on Israel.. That he would want to expel all Arabs from Gaza and the territories.. where he was going to send them I guessed wrong - I figured on Syria and it ended up being Egypt and Jordan but aside from this my conclusions were extremely accurate..
My conclusion on what is going to happen between Canada and the USA is also based on facts ... its not going to be pretty.. and this is primarily based upon the personalities involved..
@pdqsailor1 what are your conclusions in regard to canada and usa? My fears about trump is that he may force a 7 year peace treaty on Israel which her enemies will violate as soon as he leaves office.. 😏 but that's just a hypothetical situation which may or may not be imminent..
Could be next month.. or years from now but it will happen someday along with the 666 era of a cashless society which is creeping up on us all
@YoMomma Trump is a barbarian... he wants a win in terms of acquiring Canada ... the PM is a banker/backroom string puller - perhaps a bit diplomatic.. VERY polar opposite personality to Trump.. Trump is going to look at key export items from Canada and put massive tariffs on them.. much more than say Mexico.. The PM is thinking he can make a deal - not only will he not make a deal - he will do horribly.. The PM has zero killer instinct.. he will not know how to respond..
There will be no peace treaty on Israel.. NONE... He wants them to FINISH the job in Gaza quickly and then do the same thing in the territories.. There will be mass expulsions...
@YoMomma I understand... and on a religious basis there is no prohibition against a third temple being built by man despite many orthodox and chassidic "objections".. BTW.. the fact that Israel possesses Jerusalem and has the choice to rebuild the temple is precisely why I refuse to morn on Tisha B'Av.. For two thousand years we have not HAD a choice and had to morn.. Now we have a choice and we have not exercised it.. I too would prefer that the third temple be built in my life time... . Not sure how or if we can proceed to conduct services there - animal sacrifices, no stone commandments in the Aaron Kodish but in the interim Torah scrolls can be set inside.. and outside in a separate Aaron Kodish as is used in our Synagogues.. Not sure how they pick which Kohen is to serve as the Kohen Gadol ... No sure if any of this is of great consequence either because better we get as close to correct as we can than to not do so as we wait for the coming of the Messiah at which point what ever is not correct will be made correct in addition to the fulfilment of all events of Jewish prophesy..
BUT.. as long as sizeable populations of Arabs sit in Gaza and the territories tearing down the Al Aqsa mosque is a problem for Israel in terms of internal terrorism and uprisings. So the expulsions MUST occur first and must be completed. External threats are acts of war and can be managed, internal threats are currently a consideration and can be minimized by expulsions. So this must on a practical basis be handled first..if we do this which has to be done in any event then dissent can be managed effectively...
@pdqsailor1 i think that the Al Aqsa mosques are right in the way of where the temple sits and by UN laws and bs Israel is obligated to protect other religious sites and such 😒 unlike the islamist who destroy and deface everything and deny the existence of the temples in the first place.. it's maddening to the highest degree .. they even set their graves right at the doorway of the eastern gate to prevent the coming of the messiah 🙄 that's how spiteful the islamist are with their hate .. but according to the christians he already went through do we aren't worried so whatever .. in the bible it's written that G-d went through it, so it will be shut.. as you know christians believe in the return if the Messiah but no through earth but through heaven in the sky over the Mt of Olives .. and the sky and the ground will split both and. Anyway I'm not an expert on the matter but ..
Idk if you know this but even tho Israel has technically held Jerusalem for awhile now, they weren't at liberty to do what they wanted with it or even go there, it's in the hands of the Muslim community per international pressure and rule and they Jews were restricted and even banned from it by them.. it's BS but only now are some Jews fighting back against these policies and insisting on their right to even be on The Temple Mt..

Its beyond hilarious and scandalous that anyone has an expectation that this squatting structure's presence upon the site of G-d's home upon this earth would in any way dissuade the construction of the Jewish Beit Hamidash.. Obligations - we have one obligation and that is to serve G-d not man.... The biggest mistake the IDF made in June of 1967 is to have not bulldozed it to dust then.. The rock the dome covers (and I have stood there myself)....Is the same rock that Jacob's head rested upon and the spot that he ascended the ladder from.. This is the spot of G-d's home upon this earth and no one else's... I would bulldoze that mosque to dust with out a second thought ---though disassembly and moving it for reassembly in Saudi Arabia is a more friendly plan..
