@bijouxbroussard it would be worth it to save a child, i wouldn't worry about my own safety in that moment. I can handle myself. My 1st priority would be to help this child. Because if i'm standing there and physically doing nothing other than using a phone and she would have gotten killed how could i live with myself? Its just not in me to be a coward i dont care if i was 80 years old, im not that selfish. And thank God that others aren't either because if we are all cowards everyone would be screwed. I just looked at a video like 5 minutes ago where a child was stabbed and a teacher walked away and did nothing. Would you want this coward at a school shooting with your child? And its okay to be that person who stands back and watches, its just not in me to be that person.

@AngelUnforgiven Like I said, I would not turn away, and I would do what I could to get the person help. And that I have done in the past, successfully.

Charging in like Batman and getting killed would simply mean not only not helping that person, but never being able to help anyone else ever again. If that makes me a coward, I literally can live with that, because what I’m not is a fool.

But to me a coward closes the curtains and pretends nothing’s happening. And that is not me.

Problem is, when we get involved in someone else's drama, it just makes things worse for everyone.

If things get physical and the cops show up, everyone goes to jail.

For this particular video, people probably didn't know if that man and the girl were related or what the rest of the story is. I do not condone what he did, but yeah unfortunately when we involve ourselves in others' problems, it never ends well.
