in the future when i'm all alone, what will i do

without my elderly parents around to support me in life? i'm just frightened of a time when they won't be around, and i'm left all alone to face life's problems.....like just recently i had to make a reclaim for my benefits, luckily i had my social worker to help me, but it was my mother who chased up my social worker to get her on the case to help me.....my mother and father are my real backing....i love them to the stars and rely on them greatly still.

i don't have any friends anymore, and know no one...so my support system is literally my elderly parents.

and as much as i don't like it, i am vulnerable....i find it dificult to deal with my everyday life's responsibility's.

and it would be a nightmare if i was on my own dealing with living alone, loneliness and facing life's problems as they crop up, all on my own.

any thoughts?

For varying reasons, a lot of people, men and women, are worried about their future.
Even if we have kids, they either do or will have their own lives as adults. Not like they are going to take care of us.

If we do not already have a decent retirement plan mostly in place, it is pretty much too late now.
Of course in America, there is the constant possibility of social security going bye bye. Even if it doesn't that little SS check isn't jack. I think it's like 1/3 of what we are used to earning. Maybe 1/2.

We go through the first half of life with everything pretty much planned and decided for us but then at some point, the world leaves us be.

I been thinking about this stuff too, I guess the thing to investigate is, what options does someone have if retirement age but no assets.

You’re gonna have to find a way to get ready for it.

Are they trying to push you to do more on your own? Unless maybe they think you’re just gonna live in an assisted living place. I don’t know what all of your problems are.
