After ending a relationship with a 38 year old woman when I was 22 she stalked me for nearly a year. I was extremely creeped out to the point of carrying a firearm as I thought she was going to kill me. The week the landline phone company had a tracer on my phone she averaged 243 calls per day to my house. This means one call every six minutes 24 hours per day on average. She told my secretary she was going to kill her for sleeping with me (we were never involved with each other intimately in any way) threatened to kill every female I knew. The police at the time just laughed it off making jokes like "I guess it's because your such a great lover, eh?" She called my boss and told him the police would be there the following Monday to take me into custody for molesting children. It was a nightmare and fortunately most could see through her claims many of the women were scared for their lives. "Normal people" don't stalk anyone.
