Would you cheat if you know you wouldn’t be caught?

Is cheating really that big of a deal? I’ve never cheated or been cheated on, but I can’t imagine it’s as bad a thing as most make it out to be

I have .. and it really hurt.. I was single when I helped somebody cheat.. my roommates boyfriend made a pass at me and over time .. I ended up sleeping with him while she was at work .. I was the one who told her ..and we lost our rental agreement because of it
