@YMITheWayIM: I asked ep to make a site for the kiddies, as I didn't come to sites like this to talk with my kids or my grandkids (technically I don't have any yet), I liked to talk with peers, or close to it anyway. They said no. It would be too much to deal with, and get money for... etc.

Right.... they weren't doing much more then surviving at that point.

I agree, but is it really so different here? The groups are lacking in people and advice, but so much of it is exactly the same. Do you think we romanticize it a bit? I do, I know that.
