Have you ever had Beef Wellington?

I've made it myself and it sucks. No, mushrooms and nuts do not go together with meat. It makes for a mushy texture, the beef ends up boiled instead of seared due to all of the moisture in the shroom, and the texture of the nuts steals the final thought you could ever have had about eating a luxurious piece of meat.

I like my beef wellington with the nicest cut of steak, wrapped in puff pastry, and with a thin layer of garlic brined feta cheese ontop.

I cook my own every now and then.
