Have you ever borrowed money from someone before & paid it back?

My friend lent $1000 to her good friend 16 years ago, & he’s never made attempts to even pay back some of it. They’re not close anymore, but it’s not because of the money; just life.

When I lend someone money, I generally don’t expect to see it again, that way I’m pleasantly surprised when they do pay me back
