It depends on how long they've known that we are here.
Us humans have only been transmitting intelligible signals for a very short time.
Depending on which ones get picked up the visiting party could be very aggressive, very understanding, maybe a bunch of hippies.
Or they could just descend, piss everybody off by taking selfies and then just fuck off again in pursuit of a better intergalactic photo-opportunity.

Not the kind of peace God likes. Forcing people to live in peace because of convience is being controlled. When everything is being control by one. The abusive power will think of himself and believe what is right from themselves. Deception of peace of lawlessness.
