Can antidepressants cause paranoia?

Someone I know just started taking them and suddenly thinks they are being watched and everyone is out to get them 😟

@Nebula I know the effects anti depressants can have on people-due to family members having been on them.If the paranoia started after the antidepressants were prescribed it is probably not a coincidence.
