Why do people like to tell me...

That my people came to the US through the Bering land bridge? Like with such confidence and no humility at all. “I know your history better than you do” is the feeling I get from that.

It's a way they justify colonization by saying the land they stole was never really ours to begin with.

@SwampFlower Mmm I mean it is I want to feel that’s what the answer is but when it comes to archaeologists that say these things and want nothing to but to help natives then I have to re evaluate that answer

@AnthroKenj Maybe you give the archeologists too much credit. 😅 I doubt they are really motivated by altruism.

@SwampFlower Hahaha yeah I still pushed back w the spiritual aspect of class with my anthro peers and professors.
