When was the last time you were so desperae that you prayed even when you are not a believer?

I don't consider myself a "religious" person. But I do believe in God. I prayed a small prayer yesterday, although it was not by desperation, I was just feeling a bit low and scared of what my future holds for me. Anyway, the prayer did make me feel better after. :)
