How strict is your "lockdown" or quarantine where you are?

Here in Illinois we are having a "Shelter in Place" where there are no public gatherings, and all schools most businesses are closed except the most important places like grocery stores and pharmacies. Thankfully we can leave our homes outside, lol.

Most retail stores are still open. You may have to wait outside until the store empties itself sufficiently to keep the number of people in the store within the law. Dining in is very limited in restaurants but delivery or pick up is doing great. One major coffee/doughnut shop is going to close its shops but that is the decision of the owners. Grocery stores are all open but have markings on the floor to help you keep your distance in line up. Not that the line ups are long. Most stores I know have banned reusable bags and demand you use single use plastic ones. The bus service is reduced to week end service schedules so they can sanitize more often.

@hippyjoe1955 I don’t know if Home Depot’s and Lowe’s are still open, landscapers have to,work. Liquor stores can sell liquor but deliver or hand the liquor to customers fire payment & ID Check. The OKC zoo was one of the first places to close a couple weeks ago

@cherokeepatti Yeah the lumber yards and hardware stores are open. Wait in line to get in. Liquor stores are all open and I haven't seen any line ups there. The playgrounds and parks are all closed as are the city recreation centers and libraries. Some of my clients have been deemed essential services since they work in the hospitals or provide food to stores. My daughter works in a plant that makes windshield washer fluid. Her work has been deemed essential. There are very few actual cases and so far only 2 people died. Both had serious underlying health conditions.
@hippyjoe1955@cherokeepatti My local Walmart which is usually 24/7 has been closing at 6:00-7:00 PM recently. No restaurants have the option to dine in right now. Either drive-thru or delivery.

@latinbutterfly Walmart super-centers closing about 8:30 now
@cherokeepatti Mine has been keeping their shelves stocked pretty good this week. I'm actually impressed 😅.

@cherokeepatti Yeah, there are at least a few common items that are still pretty scarce.
