Well, a start would be to go into the heavily crime infested areas in cities and go after illegal gun sellers, owners and users. Why have the administrations that decry gun violence not done that? Then review the Patient Confidentiality issue, as there are possibly identified and known individuals with mental health issues who have access to weapons. Stop hassling and not cooperating with ICE who as a Federal agency, may have extensive knowledge on people illegally here with a history of gun use and violence, which might be included in my first point.
