Would you or do you help the homeless even if you do not have much yourself?

I really do not have much. Yet this happened just last night.

Coming back from my nightly walk, not to far from where I live, I came across a homeless person.

He was in very much of a sad state. Clothed in rags, no real shoes. A sock and house shoe on one foot. Bare foot and a piece of cardboard just covering the toes on the other.

I won't go into the full story, there is a lot to it. Some of it I just couldn't be of help.

Yet I felt sorry for the guy. Heck no shoes nor sock!

So I still had my old worn-out work boots from two years ago and plenty of old socks. He also got an unopened box of Cheerios and a can of V-8 after all was done.

I see homeless here some of the time. Most of time I just don't see how I can help.

Yet this one time I could do at least a little. Would you?

This is kind of you. I have given food to the homeless before when I was in larger cities. There aren't many homeless where I live now. It is more isolated. And I am reminded that some are scammers, unfortunately, or are drug addicted. I would give food likely, not money then. It is nice to see you here, my friend. Good night to you and Sheba.

I know what you mean about rural areas. Now I am in the city though I see them far more often.

Always good to see you my friend. Always! 🤗
