Honestly, I think most people want the same things.
This dichotomy that's developed in the 20th and 21st century isn't new... but it's certainly been made worse by social media and instant feedback. People don't have enough time to breathe and relax between arguments, so everything escalates...
Male vs female
Dem vs Rep
Theist vs Atheist
Straight vs Gay
etc
etc
Here's the thing... there are actually more of us that want to work together than there are those that want to tear us apart.
We need to actively work to start solving problems without false protests
