It's a forest fire. Forest fires happen and are necessary, pearl clutching aside.
As for the cause, depends on who you listen to. CNN is claiming its caused by humans without offering specifics and using it to push the global warming political narrative. Brazil is saying natural causes. I tend to believe just about anyone over CNN.
