If a woman approached you in a grocery store and showed you an obituary of her late husband. She also shows you her light bill saying they will turn it off if she doesn't pay 60 dollars.

I smell "scam" all over this. I would take her to the service desk, have her tell the story, and let THEM call help for her. Another reason I don't go to the grocery store but have them deliver it instead.
