@latinbutterfly It is pretty eye-opening, isn't it? The northeast is going to have 105 degree heat index days Friday and Saturday of this week. That is the kind of heat, and more, that the study is talking about. 127 degrees is dangerous to human life, because the body can't keep cool by sweating.
@windinhishair That would be even worse than the deadly heat waves of 1988 and 1995 in Chicago.

@latinbutterfly Oh yes. And you'd be having it eight times a year, on average. Those would be the good old days, when things were cool.
