Why are illegal immigrants all gathered up and thrown into camps where they are treated like animals?

@nedkelly As someone else mentioned here, applying for citizenship is expensive. Maybe the government ought to just lend them a helping hand instead of deporting them back to the place where they were trying to escape from.

It’s really expensive to become a US citizen and it can take a long time. I have first hand experience with this. I have dual citizenship with the us and Italy bc my parents are divorced and live in two different countries. Also it’s easier for citizens of other countries to get their citizenship such as Europeans. @nedkelly
