How much does your physical appearance affect your self esteem?

🤔 This feels like a can of worms. I don’t feel like my appearance...that is my shape, my facial features, etc., play as big a role. I won’t put a hitch in anyone’s gaze, good or bad as I’m neither hideous nor beautiful. But my character, my discomfort, my awkwardness throw shades on my appearance. How I carry myself, my expression, my body language, and I’m aware they paint an unattractive picture which then creates a sort of vicious cycle that feeds on itself. I most likely look my best when I’m alone. LOL
