What do u do when u keep trying to help a friend but it seems everything u do or say the friend doesn’t realise it and is ungrateful

Maybe the friend doesn't think they need help, of more often than not, your offer is pointing out a lack of something they have, and they get embarrassed by that... Help can be a touchy subject
