Give them the change if I have any. I usually carry small gift cards for different fast food restaurants though. I usually give them a gift card so they can eat.

usually most places let you pay it forward so tell them where they can get coffee or a meal

@PainandPleasure I started that several years ago. Sometimes I'll give them two cards so they can eat more than a couple times.
