If your new job gave you a start date for 2 months from now, would you quit your current job to have a 2 month break?

Hypothetical situation. If I do get this job, with a school, I'd like to quit my current, to have time off before school actually starts...

Again, hypothetical...I'd also want to get something in writing if I can that says of a future start date.

I'd keep working, and give my current employer at least two weeks notice before leaving.

@VeronicaPrincess oh yea, I'd give a two week notice. Just be nice to have 2 months off.
