Regarding our economy, do you think the U.S. should be globalist or nationalist?

Think is about economies, everybody's economy has evolved to where they are to day, so when somebody comes along and says, 'I don't like it working like that, I'm going to change it.' They really have no idea what the repercussions of those actions are, unless a thorough diary has been kept as to why things became the way they were.
I've almost talked myself out of Brexit there (not quite it's much more than a trade deal).
