is there a term for...

Not wanting to work hard by doing work that's easier, but useless?

if that makes sense

Millennial. But you also have to have $80K in college debt for a degree that doesn't actually offer employment opportunities.

Not earning your paycheck?
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@QueenElsa That often happens in the workplace. I am sorry.
QueenElsa · 22-25
@SweetMae it's annoying, I wish my morals could be that low

@QueenElsa Hopefully someone will notice your hard work.
It's called working smart
QueenElsa · 22-25
@Nunlover but it's actually useless, it's inefficient and doesn't help at all
@QueenElsa but you still getting paid
QueenElsa · 22-25
@canusernamebemyusername but there's actual, but harder that needs to be done
@QueenElsa Many places want you to constantly be working even if there is nothing to do. They will literally make a mess just so you have to clean it up. It is inefficient and a waste when there is actual stuff that needs doing. Nothing like being rewarded for all your hard work with more (and pointless) work.
