Can you believe that my brother and his wife feed their maid and gardener only bread for lunch ?

I'm looking after by bro's house while they are away. The maid and gardener are working here today so I asked them what they normally eat for lunch. The reply from both of them was, "Bread".
That's bullsh*t ! I gave them both chicken, rice and gravy.
When my bro comes back next week then we are going to have a chat about Human rights I think.
Just bread is like 1980's Apartheid nonsense !

@SW-User I think they need to be told that the world has already changed. A long time ago. This is a 4 bedroom house with swimming pool and all the luxuries one could want. The fridge and cupboards is bursting with food and they only give these people bread to eat !?! I'm still trying to get my mind around that.

I saw this kind of thing myself when i lived in SA. It bothered me greatly tbh. Including the “whites only” sign outside the public library

@SW-User Yeah...I was a policeman during the Apartheid yrs and as a result many people just assume that I'm a racist pig. In fact, being a cop taught me the opposite of that.
