Would you ?

I have many of times when my Freinds wanted to do it. I’ve saved a lot of life’s and I wouldn’t mind trying to save more. Nobody has ever done this for me though. You don’t have to repost if you don’t want to. Just seeing who would.

I've called the authorities, even across the country, not knowing where my friend lived, and I've been more subtle and prayed with my friends, and talked them through what they were contemplating, appealing to their sense of their own instincts to live. The trust came with promising I would never call the cops again. I won't ever take someone's choice away from them. But I will, indeed, fight like hell to change their minds. I will always recommend they go to the hospital and/or the police station, depending on what state they're in. And I will always be there after all is said and done. Just like I want them to be.
All they have to do is remember I'm here. I wont ever forget them.
Aw, thanks. The lessons we learn when our hurting friends school us are important. I still wish I'd had a friend who wasn't family to talk to in my darkest moments. And I was blessed to have family who cared. Still, the good thing is I'm still here. So are you, and so is everyone who reads your post. Its important stuff to talk about. Removing the stigmas of our society breathes truth, transparency into what so many are experiencing, what so many others are uncomfortable with. The dialogues we engage in are as significant as the pain which drives so many of us to fulfill these stigmas.

I'm sorry for what you've gone through with your loved ones. And I'm glad to see your caring outreach.
