I have many of times when my Freinds wanted to do it. I’ve saved a lot of life’s and I wouldn’t mind trying to save more. Nobody has ever done this for me though. You don’t have to repost if you don’t want to. Just seeing who would.

I would and I have, but it gets tiring. I was there too many times when my brother almost killed himself. I can still remember the smell of blood and diseased flesh as we waited with him in emergency rooms. I eventually moved away, and he eventually “accidentally” overdosed on pain meds. Of course I miss him, but a part of me hopes he found the peace he never could attain on this earth. Now I’m going through it with my other brother. He is in liver failure but won’t stop drinking. I spent Christmas of 2016 watching him puke up blood as we waited for a surgeon to come patch him up. If he gives up the booze he has good years ahead, but I predict he doesn’t make the year. I know that one technically isn’t suicide, but if they tell you drinking will kill you and you continue to drink HARD, you have to almost wonder if it is the desired outcome.
Sorry to ramble on, your position is a noble one. I applaud you for doing all you can. I’m just saying it’s a heavy weight to carry when you try so hard and they still say goodbye.
