Is this college admissions scandal just a little too perfect?

I mean rich, famous people and their entitled, spoiled offspring are just too easy to ridicule. It feels like a bucket of chum being thrown to the masses.

Cracks me up...it is ok to get special consideration for being an athlete, a minority member, or a woman. Even a foreign exchange student....but heaven forbid you get consideration for being wealthy. Colleges run on wealthy donors contributing endowments etc.….do you really think they didn't expect their kids to be taken care of? How about legacy admissions? You know, if your parent graduated from the school the kid gets special considerations for admissions.

The outrage is because this group of rich people just paid a middleman and didn't bribe in the correct manner....er I mean endow.

It is all nonsense and ALL admissions should be merit based.

@bowman81 Athletes work for their scholarship. I worked in an athletic area the last few years I worked at a university...they spend a lot of time to get a scholarship. It’s not an easy pass.
