If you observed an innocent member being bullied on here, would you jump in and defend them?

I would really want to, even though it's not really my business unless the member is either a friend of mine, or it's my own post.

Online Bullies are cowards

They sure are@JohnOinger
I do
I fight for the underdog

whether I know them or not
whether they like me or not
and even if I don't like them

There are procedures for dealing with bullies ,people that harass
But if the person they pick on never responds it makes it easer to enforce
But many of us know other ways ,but its not a good idea for friends to gang up on someone either ,then you become the thing you hate
Its best to just be kind ,let them hang themselves ...

I have been know to mess with a few ,,but I am only looking to see what their intent is ,,,
if they are being mean spirited ,or just playing
In text it really is hard to tell if someone is trying to be funny
or if they really are that clueless about what they said
SW-User
I have before. Sometimes for the not-so-innocent people too just because I don’t see any reason for ganging up on anyone.
SW-User
I don't become a vigilante kind of aggressive.
But I will go and share my opinion if someone says something about a person that just seems off character
SW-User
Most “innocent” people aren’t really innocent so nope

It’s happened to me here. The person who slandered me off to others is a Irish teacher who can’t cook, lol I saw her posts when I came back here after taking some time away. She has a serious grudge against me even tho others have long since laughed it off.

What a creep lol
@SW-User Well whoever it is sounds like they really need to get over it and move on. Life is too short.
SW-User
It sure is, funny thing is the same person who keeps a grudge towards me has “forgiven” others mistakes on here. So it’s obviously personal... the woman should consider learning how to cook properly instead of hating on me 😂 😁✨💃🏻@latinbutterfly
@SW-User Lol 😂

Absolutely. I remember in EP that with each post a reminder would pop up

Please respond with authenticity respect and support. I would add kindness. The most profound thing you can do if you disagree with a post is to not respond in any way. Ignore. Without hatred and disrespect obscene inappropriate or hate texts have no life to sustain themselves.

If I see a heckler on a suicidal post.
They are mine.

[c=#7700B2]I try to avoid confrontation as much as I can but also at times I cant keep my big mouth shut and have to inject myself in others conversations [/c]

i would WANT to, but too often i've jumped in before i knew the full story and made a fool of myself. so i probably won't anymore.
I have on occasions where I had a good feeling of what went on. It's not always as easy to tell as some people are good at victim calling.
SW-User
I know what you mean. You just don't want to cause more drama, on one hand.
I have, when it looked like someone was being ganged up on. What’s hard is staying out when it’s a disagreement where I like and respect both parties and can see both points of view. 🤔
@bijouxbroussard That is hard. You don't want to run the run the risk of blocked. I would try to acknowledge that both parties have good viewpoints.
SW-User
to be honest i am usually someone who watches on the sidelines ^^
