How would you punish a serial killer that only murdered serial killers?

Should the penalty be the same in your opinion?

[c=#7700B2]yes murder is still murder if you murder another murderer. Maybe in special cases it could be looked at differently as I believe it does happen on occasion. Things taken in consideration of self defence and mental state..
laws are there for a reason and if anyone feels justified in being able to murder others for doing the exact same thing. they are no better and should be prosectuted the same [/c]

@PlumBerries exactly, no one has the right to punish another person by what they believe is the right punishement. If I asked "would you punish someone who keeped thieves locked up for years for stealing?" the answers would be different. There's a justice system for a reason, otherwise there would be a complete chaos. If someone feels they should serve justice on their own, they're responsible for spoiling social cohesion.

[c=#7700B2]that's my exact point I was trying to make. If people just went out and served their own idea of punishment on anyone. It would be utter chaos. We need a justice system and yeah I get the system can be very flawed at times but it is better compared to nothing [/c]
