@Peaceful Well yes, but not the point. When I was in the Navy, a buddy of mine actually got his boot stuck in the spring mud, and while he was bent over digging his boot out, some young hotshot JO decided to come over and rip him a new one about the fact that (while his head is down, mind you) he didn't stand up straight and salute him (despite the fact that he could not see him).

I am just curious about people's experiences.

@LEBsCreations are you masturbating to the replies?

@Peaceful No. I'm eating Chinese food and watching television and trying (actually) to come up with a few realistic situations of a similar nature for a story I'm writing that's set in Cold War era Soviet territory (where they do NOT take care of roads or anything else). It makes for a good distraction to cause that character to lose focus and also get slowed down enough for another agent to catch up to them. Basically a good close call that isn't over used, because it's getting hard to come up with something that isn't tired.

It does not help that I am completely exhausted from taking care of a sick Beagle that needs to go out every two hours.

@LEBsCreations in that case, my grandma did when I was a kid. She lost one of her shoes in it. She was laughing, but you could see the fear on her face. :/

@LEBsCreations diarrhea?
:(

Yes, unfortunately. Rice, chicken, and probiotics along with constant cleaning of both dog and apartment. My wife is coming home tomorrow night from being out of the country, and I'm trying to get it to where I can leave the dog long enough to get her. Also trying to get enough rest to be functional to drive.

@LEBsCreations you're boiling the chicken? I'm sorry. I hope your doggie gets better soon.

Yes, boiling chicken and making white rice. Thank you, I hope so too, sitting up with her to keep an eye on her. She's her usual self for the most part, so she just needs a careful eye.
