Does the legal system of your country have any laws related to limit of profit a company can make over their products?

I mean.... I've been shopping for some house interior items and the price range for the exact same things is VAST. And that kind of freaked me out cuz I'm on a budget and I been frustrated over buying some things too expensive and just finding out how much they cost at another place 😐
