We spent a lot of time in Vancouver city, wonderful place. Is Vancouver island what we saw to our west as we drove up the coat? You do live in a great area. Must be karma.😊

Yes I think so ,,, you could get a view of it when still in Washington state ,, Yes I love the area ,, and does not get very cold either ,,,

It was a bit smoky when l did it this year.

I heard ! How close were the fires? We got some of that smoke all the way to Minnesota.@doodatt

Fires could be seen on the sides of the mountains between Golden and Revelstoke.

Yes it was bad this year ,, the smoke reached the island ,, the sun was a orange ball in a foggy sky ,, not nice to be out in ,,, I traveled the Crow's-nest this Sept,, fires mostly in control and up high in the mtns

@monte3 If you get to Vancouver Island, the drive from Nanaimo to Tofino, although challenging - is one of the most beautiful drives i've done. Highly recommend it.

@nahright09 you are very correct I have drove it many times it is a grand drive ,,, and other one is the Victoria Port Renfrew to Cowachan lake ,, to Duncan and back down to Victoria ,,,,

We will get back to the Pacific west soon. I will take your advice. It is challenging because?@nahright09
