Should I go to the party?

A friend I have known all my life through church is throwing a party at her house tonight. She is a couple of years older, and I really don’t know any of her friends. I am more of a wallflower and I have anxiety. Parties where I don’t know anyone make me very uncomfortable. I already bought her a gift and checked the “I’m going” thing on Facebook. Should I go?

What better way to overcome it than to go and not put pressure on yourself. Just go and see what happens. Introduce yourself to someone who looks approachable and you'll be surprised. Go have fun.
