Would you save, or would you say "goodbye"...?

save. there's always more awful people to take the place of the one you did away with. you never know when someone that decides to use their talents to make a positive difference will come along.

I would rather save. I am a natural nurturer.
Having said that, I can get overwhelmed and just say goodbye.

That's a tough one. Probably save. I think more negative people pop-up to lead such things but someone important to a positive cause is few and far between.

Depends if the person wanted to die or not

Save. "Destructive causes" don't tend to hinge on the existence of one person, while "positive" ones do quite often.
