When did this become a thing what justifies that?

drugs became legal lol so now no one is allowed to use them

@xSharp A firm can decide who to employ, unless it's policy now that the government decides it?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing yes but how many want a person who as a pot smoker has been wrongfully demonized and branded an unreliable idiot in practically all media for the past 100 years?

there are not enough bong shops to employ everyone
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp My step son has smoked it since about 17...he's now 30. He behaves like a teenager. I've seen it first hand what it looks like and he tried to get me to do a urine sample for a job application, and was amazed I said no. Tough shit.. If he can't stay off it in order to get a job why should I run the risk of deception?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing you do realize the taj mahal was built by stoners right? lol

there are many intelligent hard working stoners, your son was immature to begin with, hes not of your dna after all, and the dad isnt there soo.. its in his dna
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp I don't care if the Great Wall of China and half the ships that ever sailed were built by stoners...I don't care. I care about who works with me and my colleagues. I don't want someone stoned working with me. At all.. Would you accept a pilot of your flight on vacation being stoned? Or drunk? Why not?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing so you openly admit to discriminating against stoners? thats prejudice lol yes i would if he was qualified, and a regular smoker
SW-User
@HerKing just because someone is a stoner doesn’t mean they will smoke on the job I quit smoking a month ago to pass this test and will start smoking again drug test will not filter us out it will just filter out the lazy ones I of course will not smoke on the job but I’m once I get home i will be
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp

You know don't you that almost all the airlines and their respective pilot associations disagree with you, right?
HerKing · 61-69, M
@SW-User You know don't you that they're a random ongoing thing? You know that? You could be checked at any time. You'll never know when.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing obviously, it doesnt change the fact that ppl fly and drive high all the time, now that they breathalyze for wee you will see..

a massive disproportion of accidents to drivers who are high on weed vs alcohol, i havent even checked it myself.. thats how confident i am.

if every one who drove high crashed, even half of them, the streets would be a destruction derby
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp Well the figures will be interesting here in CA....The police are already testing various ways of on the spot testing for mary jane.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing then i suppose we shall see if im correct.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp Well you condone someone driving who is under the influence...Right up until it would be one of your kids. Then your world will change...
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing i have been in moving vehicles with many people of varying maturity levels, who had a tendency to speed and drive recklessly for my entire life, who while under the influence of weed still have yet to hit anyone or crash into anything, i have experienced the truth for myself that this old timey myth is false
xSharp · 31-35, M
driving while tired is far more dangerous and causes far more accidents and deaths
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp And? The point you're making is what exactly?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing i dont have a horse shoe up my ass, not to my knowledge anyway lol, these stats show the odds are so devastating that statistically i should have been killd 10 times over by now at least. clearly a lie
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp And tripping over a curb and breaking your nose is just as painful as deliberately walking into a door to do the same thing...Is this some kind of confirmation bias on your part?
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp Well go ahead..knock yourself out, but that doesn't alter that a firm can choose who they employ.. That is it.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing incorrect, you accelerate towards the curb increasing damage causing energy transfer exponentially. physics my good man
xSharp · 31-35, M
also im high right now.. lol
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp Good for you...
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing thank you, there is no such thing as a bad drug, only incorrect usage..

you are on drugs right now, because you are made of chemicals did you know that?

neurotransmitters
HerKing · 61-69, M
@xSharp Not exponentially, that would be unlimited. Even dropped from about 500 feet the maximum velocity will be about 127 mph.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@HerKing you accelerate 30 ft per second while falling towards the curb, increasing the force of impact times your weight, i think that how it goes anyway
