What dumb-looking things have you seen people do with a smartphone?

I was just out getting lunch, and I saw someone walking around with their phone directly in front of their own face, practically inside their mouth, trying to use the speech-to-text feature. It just looked so incredibly goofy that I had to wonder why they couldn't just type it? It was a noisy area, and they weren't carrying anything, so why use that feature here and now?
