Do you like your privacy during a haircut?

Hi, I have been wondering if other people also like their privacy during a haircut. Personally I like to have as few people in the salon as possible, although that can backfire as sometimes there is anonymity in a crowd. My fantasy would be either to have a haircut appointment that was at the end of the day or night so it was just my stylist and myself, and maybe anyone I brought with me.

That is why I waited as long as I did to get a haircut, since I was trying to find the right place, which I did when I found a barber shop run by one lady barber or barberette, which is like a salon/barbershop, with one chair, and she uses an appointment system, so I never have to worry about having someone walk in and watching the haircut.

I like privacy when I am getting a haircut. You are more in tune to the snipping sound and the hair falling and the buzzing noise of the clipper as the hair gets shorter.

@trimcut Great points, I agree.

I try to go in when no one is waiting. It is such an ordeal to get the courage to enter, I want to be straight into the chair and have no one else watching.

I like silence more than privacy. But it won't stop me from getting my haircut if I need it.

@SW-User Oh good point, silence is very nice during a haircut. Unfortunately I like to be silent, but then also like to chat with my barberette out of politeness and wanting to just chat with an interesting person, lol.
