Are movies really a good location for a date?

Forced to sit next to each other watching a film, no communication, maybe a little bit of hand holding or cuddling buts thats all.

If you are on a date with someone you don’t know very well it can be great. You spend time with them, you have some cuddling and you have something to talk about afterward. When it is someone you know well or have been with for a while I don’t think it is all that great because, like you mentioned, it actually limits your interactions, but different strokes for different folks. Some people never grow out of movie dates.
