What was that beep?

Do you ever hear beeps or electronic noises and wonder what the heck it was?

Yes, my mum has a TV in her bedroom and between 15-30 mins after its been switched off it will turn on with a black screen for about 5 seconds. It's so weird. First time I heard it I literally did some Kung Fu trying to find the culprit.
