What do you think should happen to these teens (News Story)?

5 teens (ages 15-17 years old) in Michigan threw rocks off a highway overpass. One 6 pound rock was dropped and went through a windshield killing a man.

I understand that teens' brains aren't fully developed but even a 10 year old knows not to throw rocks at people

Meh, about 5 years in jail(with possibility of parole after around 1). They killed someone and should be punished but they will still be young when they get out so their lives won’t be completely ruined by a stupid mistake

@JRVanguard I agree with the punishment of 5 years. That's long enough for a kid to see what they've done. They can graduate high school in jail and start over once they are out.

@iamnikki Right, I don’t see this as malicious just kids being dumb, they’ll have more than enough time to think about what they’ve done, it’s not worth ruining 5 more lives(possibly even more if they turn to career criminals following a long incarceration) because 1 was tragically though avoidably lost
