I'm one of the few people who shares real stories on here so here goes:
I visited a friend for the weekend, we'd said our goodbyes and we were on our way. About 10 miles away we were on the motorway when the exhaust broke on my car and was dragging on the ground, we pulled into the next lay by and used the phone to get recovery, there were some steps in the lay by up a hill and we decided to get the family up there and away from the car. My wife and I were sat discussing what we'd do next when my friend we'd left 30 minutes ago came up the hill. It was one of those wtf moments! We thought they were settling down for the night but he was actually off to see his sister once we'd left so was only a few minutes behind, saw we'd broken down and stopped to see if he could help.
