What's the best way to win the war against racism?

Stop subsidizing and coddling people for their race. Stop allowing any racial bias.

Stop giving so much powers to words would be a great start.

It may sound hokey, but it comes down to love. We underestimate the role of love in our lives, and its transformational power.

I was systematically raised to be a racist and changed by falling in love with a woman of color. I can't count the number of friends and colleagues who fumbled and struggled with racist notions--- who changed as soon as they found themselves with bi-racial grand-babies. My father's bigotry changed when he had black and female caregivers.

How that gets translated into action is really up to the individual. From what I can tell listening and finding value in others is where it starts.

Prosecute and jail offenders. Like they should have been doing all along.

I honestly don't know. A lot of people don't even realise what it is or how deeply it's ingrained in many cultural beliefs.
