What do you like about SW?
For me, I guess other than the fact that we can talk feelings anonymously, here is a place we show our uniqueness / weirdness / maybe what some may even call insanity or strangeness, and everyone just goes along with it like it's normal.
Here, people are honest and react to those matters/posts they feel relatable or concerned about. If not, it is easy to block or ignore.
In a way, it is more refreshing and real than interactions on other sites where people knows your face and you know theirs and you actually mingle in real life...but as for whether you care or not, it mostly feels forced or like pretense and people just tend to use each other for validation or gossip. I really, really got tired of fake caring for and from a bunch of so called family and friends alike. Like if you want to post tradition or group photos to show a united and happy family, can you at least make sure you don't secretly bad mouth and hate one another? And the worst part, growing up, one actually learns to play the game...and so there becomes more people playing pretense.
And just because it is how the system works and you know how it is played may not mean you actually enjoy playing it or taking part in it. Sometimes, you're just feeling like you have to. Because it becomes part of life, of getting things you need, of the give and take for being part of this group called society.
