Maybe not insomnia but similar

Off and on for nearly four months, insomnia. Usually four to five days of the week it takes hours to sleep but maybe a day or two I sleep so well. It does not appear to be influenced by my activity level, time I go to sleep or eat and I never drink caffeinated beverages in the night. How do you find the best way to fall to sleep? Open to suggestions.

A vigorous workout works for me. Gotta be a little bit tired/worn out. Also, I don't take naps and keep moving throughout the day, constant motion whenever I can. Helps when it's time to sleep at night..
