Maybe not insomnia but similar

Off and on for nearly four months, insomnia. Usually four to five days of the week it takes hours to sleep but maybe a day or two I sleep so well. It does not appear to be influenced by my activity level, time I go to sleep or eat and I never drink caffeinated beverages in the night. How do you find the best way to fall to sleep? Open to suggestions.

Have you tried listening to 'white noise'? I find it quiets my mind and allows me to fall asleep. For example, I especially like the sound of rain on the window.

@SW-User cute one, yes, pink noise is best for me ,white feels harsh on my ears, I do appreciate your sharing
