Why won't my 28 year old body let me have a drink or two?

I drank only 3 glasses 3 hours ago and now I threw up everything 😭😭 I'm in the bathroom and don't want to get up(sorry if tmi, just venting)
I used to drink so much when I was 15 (not trying to brag, I was stupid back then) even drank a half a bottle of a big crown whiskey bottle ike ugh now I can't handle anything 😭😭😭

At the end of my drinking, (I no longer drink), I used to chug a glass of water in between drinks if I felt too buzzed; alcohol severely dehydrates you, and that's why you feel so sick.

I didn’t quit a lot of my “stupid” stuff until I joined the Navy in 1979 when I was 20.
Of course I still drank in the Navy and even received some Non-Judicial punishment from my Commanding Officer for some drinking behavior but I learned to behave much better!

I still can drink a 1.75 bottle and a case of beer in a night and still function
Butbover time you learn what you can and cant drink.

I can't either. Used to drink half a bottle of vodka a day and now I can't even finish a beer without getting sick.
