Stuck? Frustrated with life? Regrets? You're life is not ruined...it's just begun!
When you come to what seems to be the end of your road, it's important to realize that it's not the end that you are experiencing, but a letting go of the past, so you can start new! The beginning of a new life. The shadow is always behind you. We're not meant to look that way, because we're not going that way. That's behind us.
You can't walk a new road, until you leave the other behind you. We're not swine, that we go back and wallow in the mud. Hopefully, we're smarter than that. 🤭 We have to give ourselves more credit than that. There's nothing written in the sand, that says we have to be perfect. All we have to do, is pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and try it again. Only this time, things will be better, because we've learned something.
Mistakes are not our enemy. They're not there to hurt us at all, but to help us realize that this is the way we learn and grow in life...ALL through life. When we know better, we do better, so never beat yourself up, because we're all in the same boat...we make mistakes.
What's great about challenges, is that they are great warning signals that something is wrong in our lives and definitely needs to be changed. While it's tempting for every one of us to look back and regret our past, we can be thankful that it taught us a good lesson(s), so we don't repeat the same mistakes. The reason we feel like failures, is not because of the mistake, but because life actually gives us a gift. It helps us remember our bad choices, but not to punish us....it's so we don't hurt ourselves by repeating them. It's a safety mechanism. It is our mind trying to protect us. Life's lessons actually help improve our lives.
Nothing is ruined. Nothing at all. Tell yourself the truth. Tomorrow is a new day and you can start brand new, only with much better understanding and enthusiasm, as you look at all the options available to you! God has given us great resiliency and imagination. We are great problem solvers, and the best thing is, we can change things up when we don't like something, so we shouldn't underestimate that particular gift. We're not losers at all! We get another chance, and that's pretty awesome and exciting! Don't be afraid to try new things and reinvent yourself. I've done it many a time and that's what life calls for...adjustments... as needed.
We're constantly evolving. It's easy to get stuck in the pattern of not caring for change, per se, but even I can see that change is both necessary and extremely beneficial, if I'm going to thrive in life. I have learned to look at change as a great thing. I think it's our best friend! It means hope and a better tomorrow, and who couldn't use that?!! Humans were never meant to stay stuck in the same place. If it's gonna be, it's up to me!
I know and believe, we can evolve with time and thrive! Embracing change, allows us to evolve, overcome obstacles, understand ourselves better, and become so much stronger, when we are overcomers, and that's what we were built to be. I believe the biggest mistake people make is that they totally underestimate themselves. They cut themselves short before they even make the attempt. You have to step outside of the box and try new things and then you'll see that you were stronger and more resilient than you ever thought! In turn, this builds self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth. All worth fighting for. So, come on! If I can do it, even under the worst circumstances, I know you can! I believe in you! I want you to get excited about your life and dream about all the possibilities. Make it fun!
